Web accessibility refers to the inclusive practice of making websites usable by people of all abilities and disabilities. When sites are correctly designed, developed, and edited, all users can access information and functionality equally.

Seton Hall is committed to providing a website accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website, and in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards, including the global Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). The University currently partners with Siteimprove to audit our website and provide an inclusive experience for visitors.

Achieving accessibility compliance is a continuous process, and we monitor our site and third-party sponsored communications and work to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Michael Hyland, Executive Director, Digital Communications and Marketing, has been designated as the University’s Electronic and Information Accessibility Coordinator and can be reached at michael.hyland@shu.edu.
