Government Relations

About

The Department of Government Relations serves as the bridge between Seton Hall University and the government at all levels. We build and maintain relationships with elected and appointed officials, secure public funding and partnership opportunities, and represent the University's interests in legislative matters. Our work ensures Seton Hall is positioned to advance its mission in education, research, and service to the public good.

Our primary responsibilities are to:

    1. secure federal and state appropriations and identify and assist with grant and partnership opportunities;
    2. develop and enhance relationships with elected and appointed officials, their agencies and the local community;
    3. monitor and respond to legislation and community concerns that impact the University.
