Return-to-Campus Signage to Promote Health and Safety
August 12, 2020 Update: Orders made for COVID-19-related return-to-campus signs on or before August 12 were submitted and either have been delivered or are in the process of being fulfilled. As of August 12, 2020, orders for new signs will no longer will be submitted on a regular basis. An assessment as to remaining interest will be made mid-semester to determine if there is sufficient need to make a new order then.
University Relations is collaborating with Facilities to produce and install return-to-campus signage at the University. Signs are available for common areas such as entrances, lobbies, stairwells, hallways and some outdoor areas. Individual units may require additional or department-specific signage for their respective work areas.
Examples of the current signage can be found below. These signs fall into two main categories: logistical (including signs outlining directions or instructions about using facilities) and behavioral (reminders about social distancing, mask wearing, hand washing, etc.).
Orders for the initial batch of signs needed for the start of the fall 2020 semester can be made below. These initial orders must be made by July 17.
Once signs from the initial bulk orders are delivered to you, you can reach out to Facilities to arrange to have signs installed, if needed.
A separate website where signage orders can be made on an ongoing basis (after the initial order is submitted) is currently in development and will be shared when it is finalized. University Relations will add new or revised signage as new COVID-19 health and safety guidance becomes available.
