Getting Started with 25Live

In order to schedule an event on the South Orange campus, you need to use 25Live, the University's new web-based event publishing, calendaring and scheduling solution. Users can request use of University space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer connected to the Internet.

A few pointers:

  • You must use 25Live to schedule any space on the South Orange campus.
  • Any employee or faculty with valid PirateNet credentials can access 25Live.  Only recognized student Clubs and/or Organizations can access the 25Live system.
  • Scheduling space is self-service.  The Reservations Center cannot create the reservation for you.

For Faculty

All classes are scheduled through Academic Services and any resource request (e.g., audio-visual equipment, etc.) is processed through Media Services.  For complete information, click here »

Documentation

Getting started with a new system can be somewhat of a challenge. However, we have created a couple of documents that you might want to print out and keep handy:

  • Scheduling Events in 25Live
This page provides step by step instructions for scheduling an event.
  • 25Live Quick Start
This page provides information about the basic functions you might want to access right away like checking location availability, doing quick searches, checking on the status of a request and editing or canceling an event.
  • 25Live FAQs
If you have questions about 25Live, this list should answer them. If not, let us know at [email protected] and we'll add your question with the answer to our FAQs.

Getting Technical

You only need a computer connected to the Internet to access 25Live.  However, keep in mind that the browser you are using can impact the quality of your experience. With that in mind, we recommend that you use Mozilla's Firefox browser (version 3 or higher) or Google's Chrome browser.
