What are Planners?
Most of these planners — also known as forms — initiate a workflow for the Web Team. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when requests are received and/or direct communication from a team member via Zendesk as your request is processed.
Types of Planners and Timeframes
Processing times vary based on scope, edits and creative needs. Plan ahead and coordinate with campus teams to ensure timely, effective communications.
Below are estimated lead timeframes for each type of request:

| News Story | 3-5 business days | News stories provide information about an event, initiative, accomplishment or update
to the Seton Hall community on www.shu.edu. Most stories are shared in the weekly Inside the Hall newsletter and social media channels. |
| Calendar Event | 3-5 business days | Add your events to the university’s event calendar for increased exposure on www.shu.edu, social media channels and select university e-newsletters. |

University Relations serves as the central division directing and coordinating all primary email communications across the campus. |
| Social Media Publishing | 1-3 business days | Boost your department’s visibility by posting to Seton Hall’s social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. |
| Standard Webpage (New or Update) |

Optimize your website content with our assistance to ensure its accurate, engaging and on-brand. Request updates to current webpages or creation of a new one. |
| Shortened / Encoded Link / QR Code | 2-3 business days | Track and analyze how visitors interact with your landing page by requesting an encoded URL, shortened URL and/or QR code for easy scanning on print marketing materials. |
| Seton Hall Site Promotion | 3-5 business days |
Site promotions are featured content on the Seton Hall homepage or on a department/unit-level landing page. Scheduling of said content across the website, particularly the main homepage, is dependent on preexisting requests and priority university communications sharing that space. |
| Flickr Upload | 3-5 business days | When your photos are "upload ready," make sure to upload them online to the University's Flickr Gallery for all to see. |
| University Policy (New or Update) |

All Seton Hall approved policies will be published on www.shu.edu/policies, the official repository for all University, divisional, school, college and departmental policies currently in effect. Important: The University requires that all policies be promulgated in accordance with the applicable procedure, standards and format set forth in the Policy on Developing, Adopting and Promulgating University Policies. Policies must be approved before being submitted for publication to the web. |
| Faculty Profile (New or Update) | Faculty members can update their web profile by visiting Watermark Faculty Success by visiting the PirateNet chiclet. | |
| Campaign Landing Page | 2-3 weeks | Landing pages can be created for communications and marketing campaigns that are often used for specific purposes and during a period of time. |

When your videos are "upload ready," make sure to upload them online to the University's YouTube channel for all to see. *YouTube links are required when embedding onto the website. |
