Step 1: Collaborate and Strategize

Not sure where to start? Your first point of contact is your University Relations Marketing and Communications Manager, who will help you navigate the process.

For larger projects, initiatives and events, your University Relations Marketing and Communications Manager can assist with strategy, creative requests and more. To find out who your University Relations partner is, visit the Meet the Team page.

Step 2: Execution and Evaluation

After discussion with your marketing partner, or if the request is minimal, the campus community and constituents can request web communications, creative development and marketing projects by following the steps below.

News stories provide information about an event, initiative, accomplishments or update to the Seton Hall community on www.shu.edu.

By submitting the planner, your news story is automatically shared across university platforms such as e-newsletters and social media.

Add your events to the university’s event calendar for increased exposure on www.shu.edu.

By submitting the planner, your event is automatically shared across university platforms such as e-newsletters and social media.

Use a form to streamline processes such as event registrations, feedback from surveys and data collection solely for the University website (www.shu.edu).

Consult with your Marketing and Communications Manager to determine the best option based on your needs.

 Shortened/Encoded Link/QR Code

Track visits to your landing page and further analyze how that visitor interacted with the landing page and the website by requesting an encoded URL, in addition to a shortened URL and/or QR code for easy scanning on print marketing materials.

 Reporting and Analytics

Track the success of your campaigns and events with comprehensive reporting and analytics.

By filling out a planner or emailing [email protected], a support ticket is automatically opened in our support system, Zendesk.

Through our online portal, it helps streamline requests, allowing the communications team to capture all necessary details, prioritize appropriately and respond accurately. By standardizing how information is submitted, forms make it easier to manage workflows, coordinate responses and support timely, effective communication across campus.
