Harvest Our Treasures
"When so rich a harvest is before us, why do we not gather it? All is in our hands if we will but use it." — St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Seton Hall University’s “Harvest Our Treasures” strategic plan (2021–2023/5) successfully fulfilled a bold, mission-driven academic vision that united the liberal arts with select professional programs, grounded in the Catholic intellectual tradition. Guided by five foundational commitments—broad-based education, pursuit of knowledge, integration of arts and faith, faculty-student engagement and preparation for an evolving world—the plan advanced key institutional priorities through principles of human dignity, the common good and inclusive dialogue. It achieved five overarching goals: delivering a rigorous and flexible academic experience; empowering faculty through scholarship and equity; enhancing student success and engagement; deepening the University’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; and ensuring long-term sustainability. Through collaborative efforts across campus and meaningful investment in people, programs and infrastructure, the University met and celebrated these goals, marking a transformative chapter in its history and setting the stage for future growth.

"Now it is time to create a fresh vision for Seton Hall, a plan that will enable us to achieve an even more intellectually dynamic, spiritually faithful and increasingly service-oriented University — a plan that will help us foster the dreams of our students like never before."
— Monsignor Joseph Reilly, S.T.L., Ph.D.
President of Seton Hall
