The Office of College Effectiveness (OCE) within the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media serves as the central coordinating resource for assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement across the College. Led by the Associate Dean for College Effectiveness and supported by a faculty representative appointed Data Analyst, the Office brings strategic leadership and data expertise together to advance informed decision-making and institutional effectiveness.

The Office supports academic excellence and public accountability by ensuring that programs are aligned with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in assessment and data-informed decision making. OCE works collaboratively with faculty, program directors, administrators, and campus partners to foster strong partnerships that support the preparation of future teachers, school leaders, school personnel, artists, and communication professionals.

Through a personalized and systematic approach, OCE partners closely with departments to streamline data collection, management, and reporting processes. These coordinated assessment systems and accreditation efforts help ensure program quality, candidate readiness, compliance with state and national expectations, and a culture of continuous improvement across the College.
