OCE Purpose and Scope
The Office of College Effectiveness (OCE) provides leadership, coordination, and strategic support to advance institutional effectiveness and academic quality across the College. Through collaboration with faculty, administrators, and academic programs, OCE:
- Leads assessment of student and candidate learning outcomes.
- Supports program evaluation, review, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinates accreditation activities and accountability reporting.
- Oversees data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision making.
- Designs, implements, and monitors assessment systems that promote educational quality and student success.
- Ensures compliance with the requirements of accrediting organizations, professional associations, state agencies, and federal mandates.
- Provides actionable data and evidence to support planning, resource allocation, and institutional effectiveness.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement through evidence-based practice, transparency, and collaboration.
- Helps strengthen candidate learning, professional readiness, and program effectiveness.
- Assists faculty and academic programs in navigating complex accreditation and compliance processes.
- Demonstrates accountability to stakeholders through meaningful assessment and reporting.
- Advances the College's mission by supporting excellence across all academic and professional programs.
