College Effectiveness Committee

The College Effectiveness Committee (CEC) leads the coordination and advancement of program-level assessment to support continuous improvement, institutional effectiveness, and accreditation compliance. Comprised of faculty representatives from Educational Studies; Education Leadership, Management, and Policy; Professional Psychology and Family Therapy; and Communication, Media, and the Arts, the committee works collaboratively to strengthen a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the college.

As part of the College’s quality assurance system, the CEC meets monthly to ensure that data sharing, reflection, and informed decision-making are embedded in the culture of assessment and continuous improvement.

The committee supports ongoing accreditation efforts, through systematic data collection and evaluation of key assessments. It also facilitates college-wide data review processes, engaging faculty in the interpretation of findings and the development of actionable improvement strategies. Through its work, the CEC enhances the quality, consistency, and transparency of assessment practices while promoting continuous program improvement and stakeholder engagement.
