Portrait photo of Emily High smiling and standing in front of stairway.Seton Hall University's Emily High has recently accepted a job offer with KIND snacks, a global food brand that promotes high-quality ingredients that make their snacks both healthy and tasty.

High graduated from Seton Hall University's College of Communication and the Arts as a part of the dual degree program, receiving both her B.A. and M.A in Public Relations. High focused her graduate thesis on Advancing Women in Public Relations Industry through Mentorship, Male Allyship, and Overcoming Gender Biases.

During her time at Seton Hall University, Emily was the chapter president of PRSSA, which required her to network with PR professionals across the tri-state area to speak at meetings and liaison between the Seton Hall's chapter and the PRSA headquarters. Further, High was a tour guide for the SHU campus, a member of the Student Alumni Association, and worked at local South Orange sustainable boutique Sadie's as well as interned at The Children's Place, where she was the liaison between the design team and the merchandising team.

Reflecting on her time at Seton Hall, High said: "I am extremely grateful for my liberal arts education at Seton Hall, as well as the incredible internship, mentoring and networking opportunities offered for students, which I took full advantage of." High continues, "A Seton Hall alumna whom I knew through PRSSA introduced me to my first job post-grad at a PR agency where I worked on big food and beverage accounts, as well as on niche sustainability accounts. My time at the agency was a great launching pad for my career in public relations as it really helped me build foundational media relation skills at a fast pace."

When asked about her current position at KIND, High shared: "My new role at KIND as the Integrated Communications Coordinator involves supporting all earned media efforts whether it is pitching to reporters, brainstorming ideas for upcoming media campaigns, researching industry trends and much more." High then explained that "I have always wanted to work at a company that places a strong emphasis on social impact and sustainability, so I am very excited to grow in my role at KIND."
