Second Degree Accelerated B.S.N. Offers 14-Month Path to Nursing

Seton Hall’s College of Nursing invites recent and soon-to-be graduates, as well as professionals with non-nursing
bachelor’s degrees, to explore a fast track into the nursing profession through its
Second Degree Accelerated B.S.N. Learn more about the 14-month program at an upcoming information session.
The session will be held virtually on Thursday, September 24 from 1 to 2 p.m. and
will cover program details, locations, clinical experiences and the admissions process,

The A.B.S.N. program is offered at two locations: Nutley (Spring start, shown here) and Freehold (Spring and Fall starts).
Designed for motivated individuals ready to pivot into nursing, the A.B.S.N. combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical training at leading health care sites. Applicants must hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree to apply. Start dates are offered in Nutley and Freehold for the spring cohort, with a Freehold-only cohort in the fall.
“Nursing isn’t just about clinical skills — it’s about advocating for your patients and their families during some of the hardest moments of their lives,” said Matthew Pardillo ’25, a cardiac critical care nurse. “It’s challenging, but it’s also one of the most meaningful and fulfilling paths you can choose.”
