Seton Hall Students speak with an Employeer at Career Fair

Be a Career Mentor

We invite all Seton Hall alumni to be a career mentor. "Pirate Mentors" are Seton Hall alumni and friends who have volunteered to provide career guidance to students and fellow alumni. Pirate Mentors can:

  • Help students/alumni explore careers and develop networking skills.
  • Provide career advice to students and other alumni.
  • Help students practice interviewing. Attend campus events.
  • Present workshops.
  • Assist with resume reviews.

Mentoring can be a rewarding experience and keeps you connected to the University, students and fellow alumni, in a vital way.

To join the Pirate Mentor Program, please email your interest to [email protected] or fill out the online volunteer interest form. Be sure to click on "Pirate Mentoring."

If your degree from Seton Hall University is in one of the communication areas, we invite you to join our CHAMP (CHDCM Honors & Alumni Mentor Program) mentors.  For information, click here »
