Housing and Residence Life Spring Opening - Seton Hall University

HousingThe Department of Housing & Residence Life is looking forward to welcoming you back to your Home at the Hall. The residence halls will open on Monday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. Please note that meal plans will begin on Tuesday, January 17 and classes will start on Wednesday, January 18.

Students may adjust their Meal Plan assignments until the end of the Add/Drop Period on Wednesday, January 25. To adjust your meal plan, please email [email protected]. After January 25, the proration schedule will be in effect for cancellations of housing and meal plan assignments.

While you are packing to come back to our residential community, please refer to our What to Pack for Seton Hall Residence Halls. It includes recommendations on which items to bring and which items to leave at home. For our newest Pirates, utilize the Campus Map to help orient yourself to the campus and be sure to check out our Virtual Residence Hall Room Tours to view a sample room layout.

Looking ahead to Spring 2023, we are excited for more campus engagement opportunities. Our Resident Assistants, Inter-Hall Council, and Residence Coordinators are underway planning ways to build community amongst residential students. You can check out all the programs happening on campus by visiting the Engage platform. Rooting for your Seton Hall Pirates is another great way to connect to our community and show off your Pirate Pride!

Finally, remember that the application to become a Resident Assistant for the 2023-24 academic year is due on Tuesday, January 31 via the eRezLife portal. You must attend an information session to apply – and the final information session will be held on Monday, January 23 at 5:00 p.m. in the McNulty Hall Amphitheatre.
