Music Program to Hold Public Sale of Digital Pianos & Violins May 20-22, 2021

PianoStudents, alumni, faculty, and friends of the University are encouraged to attend the annual Rockley Family Foundation Instrument Sale, which runs from May 20 to 22 at the University Center Main Lounge. As part of its partnership with the Rockley Foundation, the College of Communication and the Arts' Music program has had access to a variety of different instruments including high-class pianos and orchestral string instruments, all at no cost basis for the 2020-2021 year. This ongoing arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization.* These instruments, instruments provided to other institutions, as well as instruments made available by our manufacturing partners will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program and provide support for the Music Program at Seton Hall.

A selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Pramberger, Seiler, Yamaha, Roland, Stravari Fine Violins with a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons pianos, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site.

In a time when creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is vital to the Music program's success and to further education in the arts. We invite all to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
