Preparing to Return for the Fall Semester - Seton Hall University

We write to provide you an update and hope that you are enjoying your summer and looking forward to the return to our campuses in just a few weeks.

The Health Intervention and Communication Team (HICT) continues to meet regularly to review the latest public health statistics and government guidance related to COVID-19 and its latest variant, BA.5.

Accurate and regular information is important, so we reorganized the HICT web site to provide you the most important and most relevant information to help you stay healthy. Please take a moment to visit the site to acquaint yourself with its new look. While many protocols remain the same (vaccination, masking) as at the end of the spring 2022 semester, others have changed (quarantine and isolation space, dashboard.)

We will keep you regularly informed through periodic HICT updates, as we have been doing since February 2020. We strongly encourage you to regularly consult the HICT updates, the HICT web site, and State of New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) sites.

We know that more changes may come, so we continue to monitor public and University health statistics, along with government guidance. Any significant change in University health and safety protocols or resources will be clearly communicated.

Your health and safety remain paramount in Seton Hall’s planning and actions. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact the HICT here.

Sincerely,

Matthew Borowick
Vice President of University Relations
Co-chair, Health Intervention and Communication Team

Monica N. Burnette, Ph.D.
Vice President, Division of Student Services
