University Website Support

Web Development helps ensure that the University’s websites remain reliable, accessible and responsive to the needs of their audiences. The team’s work includes:

  • Developing and maintaining the University’s main website and related web properties
  • Supporting website functionality, integrations and technical improvements
  • Coordinating with the Web Content team on site structure, content presentation and updates
  • Maintaining accessibility, performance and consistency across the University’s web presence
  • For an update to an existing University webpage or a question about the website, email [email protected].

Blogs, ePortfolios and Academic Projects

Seton Hall’s blogs.shu.edu service gives faculty and students a flexible platform for classroom assignments, ePortfolios and other academic publishing projects. Faculty and students can organize content by topic or category, build collections of static pages and develop a site around the specific goals of an assignment or course.

The platform can support:

  • Individual student assignments and research projects
  • Student ePortfolios that collect and present work across a course or program
  • Group assignments in which students collaboratively research, write and design a shared site
  • Class publications, digital exhibits and faculty-led academic initiatives

Projects examples include the American History virtual museum and the Seton Hall Sports Poll

These sites are intended to support teaching, learning and academic exploration. They do not replace official department, program or administrative pages on the University’s main website. Requests involving official University information or changes to existing shu.edu pages should be directed to [email protected].
