SAB's Virtual Concert: Jason Derulo
Monday, March 8, 2021
On Friday, January 29th the Seton Hall community virtually welcomed singer, songwriter, and dancer Jason Derulo to kick off the spring semester. This is just one of the many events the Student Activities Board (SAB) put together for the Weeks of Welcome initiative.
Over 1200 members of the Seton Hall community registered for the event including undergraduate, graduate, and faculty members. Attendees were welcomed into Jason Derulo's home where they could watch him perform his chart-toping hits and brand-new songs!
For some members of the Student Activities Board, specifically the Live Event Chairs, the event didn't end after the concert. Check out what some of the SAB team said about their experience with the event.
- "Meeting Jason Derulo was a once in a lifetime experience, and he performed an amazing show! The concert was such a success, and I can't wait to bring more artists to campus!"- Madison Mindham, Sophomore, Live Events Chair
- "It was awesome seeing all our hard work behind the scenes make such a positive impact on campus!" Joseph Kajon, Sophomore, Live Events Chair
- "So much work is put into our events and I'm so happy that there was mainly positive feedback and I love all the memes that came out of it!! I'm just really glad we were able to put smiles on people's faces and get everyone hyped especially at a time like this where we all feel so disconnected from each other" Mariam Elmiligi, Senior, Live Events chair
