Slavic Academic Olympiad Competition

On Thursday, April 29th, 2021, via TEAMS, at 6:30 p.m., the Slavic Club will be hosting its fifth Slavic Academic Olympiad, - a competition among the Slavic Club members, Russian students and guests - on their knowledge about Slavic Cultures and the Russian language.

Our Russian Professor, Prof. Shiloff, with the assistance of one of our Russian students, John Christman, is going to conduct this game-based competition, via Kahoot. Questions are going to consist of the material covered in our Russian courses.

Answers to the questions during this Olympiad are going to be revealed by Prof. Shiloff. She will also share with our audience additional details pertaining to the answers to these questions.

Slavic Academic Olympiad will aim to broaden and enhance students' knowledge on Eastern Europe and the Russian language. Please come and test your own knowledge on Eastern Europe.

And as an extra incentive and a reward, different prizes will be awarded to those Academic Olympiad Champions who will receive the highest number of points.

In order to partake, please certain that your phone/laptop is fully charged and connected to SHU's Wi-Fi.
