National Activities
In 2017, the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP) created the Clinical Education Task Force (CETF), which led to the development of the ASAHP Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement Model. Building on this work, ASAHP launched a series of Regional Summits in 2022 to foster ongoing dialogue and collaboration among national and local stakeholders in health professions education.
These summits serve as a platform to explore strategies for enhancing health professions education and advancing evidence-based, patient-centered care. Seton Hall University, through its Center of Interprofessional Education in Health Sciences (CIEHS), has played an active role in shaping and supporting the ASAHP Regional Summits from 2022 through 2024.
By bringing together academic and industry leaders, these national forums help drive innovation and strengthen collaboration across the health professions.
