Chemistry seminars are designed to educate students in research inside and outside their primary area of interest. The Rose Mercadante Seminar Series hosts speakers from all over the world, from industry and academia. Student talks include formal literature reviews from second-year grad students and final Ph.D. seminars. The series is named for Rose Mercadante, who served as the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry secretary for more than 40 years.
