Residence Life Organizations
Resident Student Association
The Resident Student Association, otherwise known as RSA, is an SGA funded organization that works directly with the Department of Residence Life. It is a governing body of resident students that voices the specific needs and concerns of those living on campus. They work directly with RL administrators in an attempt to address these concerns. RSA also organizes several programs on campus throughout the year as a means of uniting the population of each residence hall. Some of their annual programs include SHUperbowl, Seton Hall's Got Talent, and their philanthropy Canstruction.
Anyone who currently lives in Seton Hall University owned housing can become a member of the Resident Student Association and attend their weekly meetings. All members are eligible to run for executive board positions in the RSA election, which is held every Spring semester.
RSA also provides recognition opportunities for individuals or programs that deserve a spotlight for enhancing our community. They also manage our Care Package partnership with OCM.

Hall Council
Hall Council is a governing body of students found within each residence hall on campus. While each council is unique to their own building, they all are made up of a President, Vice President, Secretary and RSA Representative. Each council meets to address the needs of their specific building and to organize programs geared towards that. Hall Council works directly with the Resident Student Association to share concerns, communicate program ideas, and to meet students from all buildings on campus.
Anyone who currently lives in a residence hall on campus can become a member of their specific building's Hall Council and is eligible to run in Hall Council elections held every year.
