Automatic Admissions for Students at Project Acceleration High Schools

High school students attending a school participating in Project Acceleration are placed into the “Automatic Admissions Program” here at Seton Hall. This means that if a student meets our minimum criteria (listed below), they will be accepted to Seton Hall. Students do not need to purchase credits through Project Acceleration for this admissions process to apply to them.

To receive guaranteed admission to Seton Hall, students must meet the following standards:

  1. Students must have a completed application on file. This includes: transcripts, essay, letter of recommendation, counselor report, and standardized test scores if student did not apply test optional. Access the application for our undergraduate admissions »
  2. Students must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 Scale.
  3. Appropriate Application Essay.
  4. Student has not engaged in inadmissible activities, nor have they been involved in any disciplinary actions or violations of institutional policies.
  5. Letters of recommendation must reflect the student’s positive standing, along with no concerns about their admission.
  6. Student must have a formal visit on file with us. The schedule and registration for these days can be found here. Formal visit includes one of the following:
    1. Official campus tour offered by the Undergraduate Admissions office at either the South Orange Campus or the Interprofessional Health Sciences campus.
    2. Open House Attendee.
    3. Visit Day Attendee.
  7. Seton Hall University reserves the right to rescind admission for students who provide information that is not truthful to the university or if any of the initial information about the student changes after review of the application.
