The Ninth Annual Servant Leadership Day
Tuesday, March 10th, 2020
The Ninth Annual Servant Leadership Day will be held on Wednesday, April 22, and is a celebration of Seton Hall University's commitment to forming students as "servant leaders in a global society." Sponsored by the Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership and the Office of Mission and Ministry, it is made possible by the generous benefaction of Colleen and Hank D'Alessandro, Regent. Its purpose is to provide inspiration to the Center's Servant Leader Scholars and to all the University constituencies dedicated to the principles and practice of "servant leadership."
To celebrate this event, all members of the Seton Hall community are invited to a talk given by Patricia Falotico from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22 in the Beck Rooms. Her topic is "Greenleaf's Best Test® of a Servant-Leader."
Robert Greenleaf told us to measure our impact as a servant-leader by our ability to help others grow as people. Servant Leadership embodies the Christian value of serving God by serving others. This talk will provide an opportunity for all participants to reflect on how well they serve others and help them grow healthier, wiser, freer and more autonomous, more likely to serve others and care for the least privileged.
Patricia Falotico is the Business Development Officer at the Robert K Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership where she served as CEO from 2014 – March 2020. During her tenure, the Greenleaf Center has introduced Greenleaf's Best Test®, Greenleaf's Servant Leadership Journey Online® and new Servant Leadership publications including Inspiration for Servant-Leaders: Lessons from Fifty Years of Research and Practice.
Pat retired from IBM following 31 years leading a broad range of projects including technical sales, sales management, service business development, software distribution, marketing and development of business partner relationships on the local, regional, national and international levels.
With the move to Seton Hall University and the naming of the Center's new Executive
Director, Pat's time has been freed up to spend with clients and partners who aspire
to make servant leadership the core of their cultures.
