Approaching the Homestretch: Mini-Series Reflects on Strategic Plan Progress

As the University enters the third and final year of the implementation of its strategic plan, Harvest Our Treasures, the community will once again gather to listen, reflect and receive updates on the plan’s progress during “Approaching the Homestretch: A Spring 2023 Mini-Series on Harvest Our Treasures,” held from February 13 –17, 2023.
Goal-focused meetings will run each day, plus a session on Mission-related initiatives, featuring status briefings by the Implementation Goal Committee co-chairs for each goal/theme, followed by Q&A sessions with colleagues actively working on goal implementation and community discussion about areas of impact and opportunities.
On the final day of the mini-series, Friday, February 17 from 10 – 10:45 a.m., the co-chairs of the strategic plan’s Implementation Steering Committee, Katia Passerini, Ph.D., Provost and Executive Vice President, and Michele Nelson, Vice President for Board Affairs and University Strategy, will host a special “Coffee Chat with the Co-Chairs” session – an informal, roundtable discussion where attendees can engage in conversation while enjoying refreshments.
“Following on our community’s collective engagement and constructive discourse during our last strategic plan symposium, “Midway through the Journey,” this mini-series brings together our Seton Hall community in the spirit of continued collaboration and shared governance,” said Michele L. Nelson, Vice President for Board Affairs and University Strategy. “This week-long gathering looks back on our ongoing strategic accomplishments, while looking ahead to the culmination of our shared commitment to achieving milestones across all areas of the University in the months to come.”
The “Approaching the Homestretch” mini-series is open to the entire Seton Hall community, and those interested in attending can view the week’s full schedule of events below or on the mini-series’ website.
Registration in advance is highly encouraged for each session, and attendees are welcome to submit questions in advance about the sessions they are attending when completing their registration submission.
