PBS's Brancaccio to Speak about Global Economic Crisis  

The Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations welcomes award-winning journalist and author David Brancaccio to campus on Wednesday, November 19.  Brancaccio will give a talk entitled "Adventures in Global Economic Disaster" at 4pm in the Chancellor's Suite. This event is free and open to the public.
 
Brancaccio is the host and senior editor of PBS's acclaimed investigative newsmagazine, NOW. He is also the author of the book, "Squandering Aimlessly," about money and values in America. A broadcaster for 32 years, Brancaccio was the host of public radio's acclaimed business program, "Marketplace." His work in journalism has won three of broadcasting's top accolades  -- The Peabody Award, the duPont-Columbia Award, and the Emmy.  Brancaccio, a resident of  Maplewood, New Jersey, is a graduate of Wesleyan University and earned an M.A. in journalism from Stanford University.
