Remembering Nidhi
Tuesday, September 28, 2021
While the Seton Hall community has only been together for one month this semester,
we have experienced much grief and loss in this short time. Too much has happened
too quickly and suddenly, and it is important to use the rest of this year to care
for, support, and serve each other in every way we can. Even with such devastating
loss, this student population has already served so many, and committed so much time
to others. In the past month since the semester began, DOVE has already logged over
1000 service hours that have been completed by you, the students of Seton Hall. This
incredible accomplishment is a testimony to the strength, generosity, and overflowing
love that our Seton Hall community holds.
As our community gathered to honor Kristen with a beautiful vigil, let us likewise
honor Nidhi in a special way through this service to others, averaging about 200 hours
a week. While many of us at Seton Hall did not get the chance to know her well, in
the short time that Nidhi was part of the DOVE family, her own commitment to service
was made clear. She signed up to lead multiple events throughout the semester full
of excitement and enthusiasm.
This year DOVE will dedicate all completed service hours to Nidhi, to memorialize her passion of service to her brothers and sisters. Please join us in honoring Nidhi through continuing to serve others, as well as each other in the Seton Hall community.
