Supporting Student Voices: Thirteen Years of Collaboration  

Over the last 13 years, students and faculty from the College of Education and Human Services and Kyiv University have partnered on a range of projects including publishing, research and web site development. 

For the past thirteen years, students and faculty from both the Borys Grinchencko Kyiv University and the Secondary Education Program in the College of Education and Human Services have collaborated on a wide range of projects and initiatives. Students have conducted and shared research, met virtually to hold seminars on topics of interest, created an interactive website with current and historical information relating to the Ukrainian Diaspora, met with and discussed the work of scholars, and presented at international conferences.

On March 31st, faculty and students from both the Borys Grinchencko Kyiv University and the Secondary Education Program in the College of Education and Human Services celebrated the launch of a new e-zine. Authors from both universities met in a virtual session hosted by the Ukrainian university to discuss their work.

The new e-zine journal 'Young Scientists Grinchenko – Seton International Journal' seeks to encourage and support students from universities of Europe and the USA, in researching essential issues facing education, science, and the world and magnify their research and creativity.

In this inaugural issue six students from both the Elementary and Secondary Education Programs, as well as a recent graduate, had their work published.
