Understanding the Policy Relationship between UN Performance and U.S. Opinion
Help Seton Hall's School of Diplomacy and International Relations lead policy decisions on U.S. support for United Nations initiatives.

Campaign Progress:
Did you know that your opinions effect U.S. policy towards the UN? Seton Hall's Center for UN and Global Governance Studies has been analyzing public attitudes toward the United Nations, and we want to expand that research to understand public opinion on the UN's activities, from peacekeeping to humanitarian relief to human rights. We seek to learn not only if there is support for these initiatives, but how the public views the UN's success and performance in pursuing them.
To move forward, we need your help in funding a faculty-led team of 5 student researchers who will develop a statistical analysis of data compiled by The Better World Campaign. Center Director Martin Edwards will guide students in compiling their findings into a policy brief which will be hosted on the Center's blog and submitted in an article to a peer reviewed journal. This information about public support could influence the way the U.S. votes on UN initiatives, and ultimately, the policy it creates.
