The School of Diplomacy and International Relations is excited to invite students to a special Alumni–Student Networking Event on Friday, May 1 — an opportunity to connect with a large and diverse group of alumni and gain valuable insights as trhey navigate their career paths.

This informal, drop-in style event will be held from noon to 6 p.m. in McQuaid Hall, giving students the flexibility to stop by, have conversations and build connections at their own pace. If weather permits, a networking lunch outdoors will also be hosted on the lawn.

The School of Diplomacy and International Relations recognize that this is a challenging and uncertain time for many students exploring career opportunities. This event is designed to support students by creating space for honest conversations about today’s job market, discovering new paths beyond traditional roles and identifying the transferable skills they already have.

The alumni guests bring a wide range of experiences — many have navigated career pivots, built strong professional networks and reflected on what they wish they had known when they were students. This is a chance to learn from them, ask questions and expand perspectives.

Whether just starting to explore options or actively pursuing opportunities, students are encouraged to join for this unique networking experience.
