Board of Advisors: Imran Ahmed

President, Graduate Diplomacy Council

Mr. Imran Ahmed is a second-year dual degree graduate student at Seton Hall University, pursuing an M.B.A. in Management and an M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations with a concentration in Global Health & Human Security. He works as a Graduate Assistant with the Office of Graduate Admissions at the Stillman School of Business, serves as both President of the Graduate Diplomacy Council and Treasurer of Sigma Iota Rho, and is a student representative to the School of Diplomacy’s Board of Advisors and Professional Development Working Committee. 

Imran received his B.A. degrees in Legal Studies and Political Science with a minor in philosophy at William Paterson University of New Jersey (WPUNJ) in 2017. He graduated magna cum laude, made the Dean’s List every semester, and was the recipient of the 2016-2017 Legal Studies Student of the Year Award. While at WPUNJ, Imran was the first Treasurer of Phi Theta Sigma, and was also inducted into Tau Sigma National Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, and Phi Sigma Tau International Honor Society in Philosophy. He received the Chris McCollum Scholarship, served as a student leader in the Peer-2-Peer Program, was inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success, and was honored by Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Imran had the opportunity to attend the 2016 WPUNJ Summer Program at St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge, in England.
