Seton Hall School of Diplomacy and International Relations, in collaboration with the United Nations Association of the U.S.A. presents Advancing Advocacy Through Op-Ed Writing: A Skill Development Webinar.

Passionate about combatting climate change, reducing inequalities, or ensuring education is available to all worldwide? Join us on Thursday, March 2, at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time for an online skill development webinar that will prepare you to advance Global Goals through opinion editorial, or op-ed, writing.

Martin Edwards, Ph.D., international organizations expert and Associate Professor at Seton Hall's School of Diplomacy and International Relations, will guide webinar attendees through the process of structuring and pitching op-eds, with a focus on two key advocacy issues:

  • building understanding and support for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, and
  • supporting continued U.S. funding for the UN.
