Poetry-in-the-Round Hosts Booker Finalist Brandon Taylor

Brandon Taylor is the author of Filthy Animals, a national bestseller, and Real Life, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, longlisted for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and named a New York Times Book Review Editors' Choice. He holds graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the University of Iowa, where he was an Iowa Arts Fellow at the Iowa Writers' Workshop in fiction.
Taylor is widely regarded as one of the most exciting and talented young fiction writers in America today.
Of his most recent book, longlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize, a finalist for The Story Prize, and named a Best Book of the Year by NPR and many other outlets, The New York Times Book Review says: "Sumptuous, melancholic portraits of characters overwhelmed. . . .
