Welcome - Admitted Dual Degree and Pre-Majors
Congratulations on your admission to Seton Hall University, we are delighted that you will join us as a Pirate in the fall! We know you may have questions about your admission letter and this page will help you understand the details.
What does it mean if my letter says I was admitted to a pre-major?
You may have applied for a specific program at Seton Hall, such as our Business School or Nursing Program, but your letter indicates that you were admitted to Pre-Business or Pre-Nursing. This means you did not meet the entrance criteria for the program you applied to but we think you’d make a great Pirate and have admitted you to the University. As a pre-major you will still be able to take classes towards your intended area of study and will be able to officially declare your major at a later point. If you have further questions about your pre-major admittance, please contact us at [email protected] or 1-800-THE-HALL (843-4255).
