Fueled by a passion for giving back and expanding access to experiential learning, the Three Doctors Foundation has made a generous gift in support of Seton Hall University’s 2026 Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Plus Program (PMPDPP) study abroad trip to Athens, Greece.

The gift, in partnership with University support, will grant eight Educational Opportunity Fund PMPDPP students the opportunity to gain exposure to the European clinical healthcare system while developing the intercultural perspective necessary to lead in a global society. The one-week program, facilitated by Atlantis by CEA CAPA Education Abroad, will provide students with approximately 20 hours of immersive medical shadowing experience across multiple specialties and hospitals.

In 2000, PMPDPP alumni, Sampson Davis, ’95 M.D., Rameck Hunt, ’95 M.D. and George Jenkins, ’95 D.M.D., MHA, established the Three Doctors Foundation and have maintained a relationship with PMPDPP by including students in programming opportunities, providing scholarships and creating ways for students to visualize their future careers.

The Foundation’s objective is “to increase community volunteerism and leadership, improve the quality of life among young people and families and generate key partnerships with community leaders and peer organizations to maximize program results”. PMPDPP is grateful for its continued collaboration with the Three Doctors Foundation and looks forward to future programing that supports meaningful community engagement, service and networking opportunities for its students.

Strategic investments such as this solidify Seton Hall’s position as a leader in experiential learning. As part of the University’s historic comprehensive campaign, For All, Forever, Seton Hall is committed to enriching our education through hands-on experiences beyond the classroom that immerse students in real-world settings and allow them to apply theory to practice. Designed to touch every facet of life at Seton Hall, For All, Forever will ensure that PMPDPP students from all backgrounds have access to the high-impact opportunities necessary to pursue flourishing careers in medicine, dentistry and health sciences.
