Maria has over 7 years of professional experience in the financial sector. She focuses on International Economics and Development. Prior joining the Center, she was a Research Assistant at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University, where she obtained her MA in Diplomacy and I.R. with specializations in International Economics and Development, and Latin America and the Caribbean. She was a team member of the 2020 National Security Fellowship and the Sergio Vieira de Mello Fellow with DCAF – Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance for Summer 2020.
