Trash Policy (Residence Halls)

Purpose

To ensure that residential students know and understand how to properly dispose of their trash in the residence halls.

Policy

Students must dispose of their trash/recycling in the appropriate location. Boland Hall, Aquinas Hall, Xavier Hall, Cabrini Hall, Neumann Hall, and Serra Hall each have trash rooms on each floor. Students should place their trash or recycling in the appropriate University issued bin. According to NJ Code N.J.A.C. 5:70.3.808.2 the lids must remain on the trash bins at all times. Students living in Ora Manor or Turrell Manor must place their trash in the dumpster behind each building. Failure to do can result in a fine.
