Strategic Plan ‘Year One’ Update to Review Progress Across Five Pillars
Thursday, August 27, 2026
In September 2025, Seton Hall University launched its strategic plan, Inspiring Great Minds to Greater Purpose 2025-30, timed with the 50th anniversary of the canonization of its patron saint, Elizabeth
Ann Seton, reaffirming a shared commitment to the University’s Catholic educational
mission.
One year into implementation, the University community is invited to collectively
pause and receive updates on work underway across the plan’s five Strategic Pillars
during “Inspiring Great Minds to Greater Purpose: One Year Later” held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the University Center,
Chancellor’s Suite on the South Orange campus.
Throughout the morning, attendees will hear directly from University leadership and
engage with representatives advancing each priority.
“Inspiring Great Minds to Greater Purpose reflects a shared vision for the future of Seton Hall, grounded in our Catholic mission
and our commitment to our students and community. Over the past year, that vision
has begun to take shape through the work of our dedicated colleagues across the University,”
said Executive Vice President for Board Affairs and University Strategy Amy Newcombe,
M.Ed. '97/J.D. “This event is an opportunity to reflect on our progress and recognize
the community’s collective efforts in advancing the plan’s pillars as we enter the
next year of implementation.”
All members of the University community are encouraged to attend and RSVP by visiting
the Strategic Plan website.
