Leadership Opportunities
Greek Municipal Assembly (GMA)
GMA serves as the executive governing board for the entire Greek community, representing
all chapters and councils. Comprising four leadership positions, GMA plays a key role
in unifying the Greek community, planning impactful events and fostering collaboration
across organizations. The board works closely with the university’s Greek Life office
to host major campus-wide events such as Greek Week, community service initiatives
and leadership workshops, promoting a strong, inclusive and engaged Greek community.
Applications go out every March for the following academic year.
Council Positions
Each of the Greek Councils (IGC, MGC, NPHC, CPC, IFC) have executive boards and hold
elections each year to elect students into these leadership positions. To hold a council
position you must be an active member of one of the chapters under the purview of
the council you want to run for.
Chapter Leadership
Each chapter has their own leadership positions that allow members to gain valuable
leadership and organizational management skills.
IMPACT Conference
The Impact Conference, hosted by the Office of Student Engagement, is a dynamic event
designed to empower students through leadership workshops, interactive sessions and
meaningful conversations. This annual conference takes place in the Fall semester
and offers valuable tools and insights to help students grow as leaders, build connections
and make a lasting impact within their organizations and the broader campus community.
Honor Societies
Order of Omega:
Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of Greek organizations. Order
of Omega recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the
areas of scholarship, leadership, involvement within their respective organization
and within the Greek, campus, and local community. Members must have a 2.75 GPA and
