Defamation: The Experience 
                                                      Defamation: The Experience was performed on campus on October 22, 2018. The interactive performance
                                                      piece asked the audience to be the jury in defamation cases designed to explore the
                                                      many –isms – racism and sexism, for example – while providing a framework for self-reflection
                                                      on our own biases.
MLK Symposium
                                                         MLK Symposium: In January 2019, the University held its first annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium.
                                                      The keynote speaker was Elizabeth Riley Williams, Executive Director of the American
                                                      Council on Diversity. Fifteen university faculty, five alumni professionals and two
                                                      New Jersey state executive directors of the Holocaust and Amistad Commissions formed
                                                      our teaching cadre for the day, along with Rev. Pritchett, Director of Special Projects.
                                                      More than 100 undergraduate and graduate students and 210 public school teachers participated.
                                                      The Symposium was created in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences,
                                                      the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, the Office of the Provost,
                                                      and Admissions.
Inclusion Alliance
                                                         Inclusion Alliance: Fall University Life courses include a unit that featured a peer-to-peer discussion
                                                      about the topics of race and racism. More than 75 upper-class students participate
