Center for Cybersecurity Education and Research


The Center for Cybersecurity Education and Research is dedicated to training the cybersecurity workforce and conducting university/business partnership projects.

The Center’s training programs equip our students with practical career skills in securing IT infrastructure and our partners with the desired expertise in cybersecurity.

Student teams, organizations and faculty partner together in projects to secure critical IT infrastructure. Students gain hands-on experience with real-world cybersecurity challenges, and our partners gain insights and actionable recommendations to improve their security posture.

Offering both cybersecurity training and technical services, the Center for Cybersecurity Education and Research works with organizations of all sizes across a variety of industries.

Facilities

Located in Duffy Hall, the Cybersecurity Lab is a dedicated space for sybersecurity education, research and projects. It provides dedicated computers, industry-grade security tools and cloud computing in a secure network environment.

Student Clubs

Students can choose from a variety of clubs engaged with IT and Cybersecurity technologies such as Cybersecurity Club, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Branch, ACM Club, and Artificial Intelligence (A) Club.

Clubs provide opportunities for learning about IT infrastructure, security and applications, participating in competitions and networking with industry.
