  • Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification Program
    The Adult (MHFA) Certification Program is designed to give an overview of the prevalence and impact of mental health problems in the United States; outline the signs, symptoms, possible risk factors and warning signs of depression and anxiety; and introduce the MHFA action plan and how it fits within the array of interventions available to address mental health problems in adults
  • Basic Health Assessment Refresher Course
    The Seton Hall University Basic Health Assessment Refresher course is a computer-based learning program that provides an opportunity for registered nurses to further develop and hone basic health assessment skills prior to beginning an advanced health assessment course.
  • Introduction to Critical Care Ultrasonography
    This is an introductory ultrasound course that will introduce the learner to use ultrasonographical examination to detect cardiac, pulmonary, vascular, and abdominal abnormalities. The course consists of a didactic presentation of the theory of ultrasonography and a hands-on experience in performing ultrasonographical examination techniques on standardized patients.
  • iTHIRST Spiritual Companionship Certification Training
    The iTHIRST online training seeks to provide a spiritual remedy to those suffering from addiction through the development and implementation of programs designed to educate and prevent, to provide support to treatment facilities and those incarcerated, and to develop an aftercare community for the afflicted and their families.
  • Prescribing Controlled Dangerous Substances
    This six-hour course addressing the key concepts required to safely prescribe controlled dangerous substances meets the requirements for Advanced Practice Nurses (ANP) to be licensed to prescribe Controlled Dangerous Substances in New Jersey.
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid Certificate Program
    Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches students how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem.


  • Approaches to Contemporary Leadership Course
    What Makes a Successful Leader? The new Approaches to Contemporary Leadership course from Seton Hall’s Buccino Leadership Institute addresses this question by providing an overview of the factors essential for effective leadership. This course is designed for practitioners – those in leadership positions or aspiring to lead.
  • CPA Pathway Apprenticeship Program
    This work-for-credit program is a cutting-edge initiative that bridges the gap between classroom learning and professional practice. Participants will be immersed in the dynamic world of accounting, preparing them for the challenges they will face as future Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).

The annual IPAC, sponsored by the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association,  brings together professionals to share collaborative efforts around evidence-based interventions for working with individuals with autism. NJSHA Interprofessional Autism Conference. 

Utility of Functional Analysis to Assess Severe Problem Behavior in a School Setting
This workshop will focus on the utility of functional analysis in a school setting. The workshop will provide a brief review of multi-tier system of supports framework, barriers to conducting functional analysis in school settings, and solutions for overcoming those barriers. Participants will review several types of functional analyses conducted in a school setting and corresponding results. 

College of Nursing NCLEX Boot Camp
The 3-day  NCLEX review program incorporates both content review and test-taking strategies.

Northern New Jersey Working Together Tax Conference, January 8, 2020
The Working Together program continues to promote the positive ongoing relationship between the tax practitioner community and the Internal Revenue Service. The annual meeting, open to both IRS employees and the practitioner community, has become a "mark your calendar" event for many New Jersey tax professionals.
