Ethics Point Initiative

On September 13, 2007, the Office of EEO and Title IX Compliance launched an initiative in partnership with to provide anonymous and confidential reporting of allegations of misconduct or fraud.  EthicsPoint is a confidential web-based tool to assist employees in reporting misconduct in the workplace.  Employees can report misconduct in two ways: 

  1. via the web and the employee is provided with a protected password for anonymity and confidentiality and; 
  2. via the telephone through a toll free telephone number.

The establishment of this additional reporting mechanism does not take the place of the Office of EEO and Title IX Compliance, but it provides an additional avenue of reporting and satisfies the University’s obligation for compliance with both federal and state law pertaining to the Whistleblower Act.
