Andy Gustafson, Ph.D.
The Catholic Studies Program at Seton Hall University invites you to a lecture: “How Being Unselfish in Business Can Make You Money and Make You Happy” by Andrew Gustafson, Ph.D. in philosophy, on Friday November 13, at 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Muscarelle Hall, Room 9.
Of course, one aim of business is to make a profit. But is it the only aim? When it is the only aim, it can seem like a soul-sucking project at times.
About the Speaker:
Andy Gustafson is a professor in the business school at Creighton University. He is
also an Economy of Communion entrepreneur and director of the EoC Project at Creighton.
He will share a vision of business that is life-giving and actively seeks to help
others, especially the poor, through business practices.
He will provide many concrete examples of successful businesspeople who seek to bring about an economy of giving rather than just an economy of getting more and more, all while making a profit.

Open to Seton Hall University students, alumni, faculty and members of the wider community.
This event is co-sponsored by the Stillman School of Business.
