Delta Epsilon Sigma (Alpha Mu Chapter) Induction
Saturday, November 22, 2025
Join us as Seton Hall University inducts new members into Delta Epsilon Sigma (DES),
the national scholastic honor society for students at Catholic colleges and universities.
Come celebrate scholarship, service and community across every school and discipline
at SHU.
“Seton Hall was among the first Catholic universities in the nation to establish a DES chapter, in 1941, just three years after the society’s founding,” said Ines Angeli Murzaku, Ph.D., professor of religion, director of the Catholic Studies Program, and founding chair of the Department of Catholic Studies. “After a period of dormancy, Catholic Studies revived the Seton Hall DES chapter in 2012. We invite eligible students to join us and help carry this Seton Hall University tradition forward.”
