Catholic Studies Celebrates Dr. Joseph T. Maloy
Tuesday, January 19, 2021
A founding faculty member of Catholic Studies, Dr. Maloy developed and taught Catholic Studies/Core 3 course entitled: The Church and Science. During his last decade at Seton Hall University, he directed his energies to Catholic education, exploring how faith informs science and how faith and science are complementary and interconnected.
The legacy of Dr. Maloy continues: The Church and Science course is being offered in the Spring 2021 by Dr. Jordan M. Miller , a Core Teaching Fellow.
Dr. Maloy shared his gifts with his fellow faculty through the Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership. Dr. Maloy's commitment to the university' Catholic identity and mission was a great gift to our community, to Chemistry and Catholic Studies departments. He will be missed.
The February 4, 10 a.m., Memorial Mass is open to the public.
