Are you a recent Seton Hall University alum who would like to make a difference in the lives and futures of underserved children? Are you looking for the next meaningful step to take in your career and community service journey? Consider applying to be a Seton Teaching Fellow and start your next chapter by taking advantage of this postgraduate mission opportunity.
"We are so pleased that Seton Hall University and Seton Education Partners have established a partnership," said Dr. Ines Murzaku, Chair of the Catholic Studies Program/Department. "Seton Hall graduates with degrees in all disciplines are seeking ways to share their faith in action. Embarking on the mission-driven Seton Teaching Fellows Program, which is based on the three pillars of faith, education, and community, is a wonderful way for our recent graduates to put their education into practice."
The non-profit Seton Education Partners is a nationwide organization that expands opportunities for parents in underserved communities to choose an academically excellent, character-rich, and—for those who seek it—vibrantly Catholic education for their children. Its Seton Teaching Fellows program is a postgraduate mission opportunity through which for one or two years, recent graduates become teaching fellows who serve and teach at Seton network schools, playing a special role in catechesis initiatives to further the mission of the New Evangelization. At the same time, they participate in their own spiritual formation by developing the habits, dispositions, and beliefs indispensable to human flourishing and happiness.
Seton Teaching Fellows gain valuable teaching experience and enjoy professional mentorship and spiritual formation. Seton Teaching Fellows serve at Seton network schools in New York City and Cincinnati, Ohio.
