Overview of the Transfer Center
The Transfer Center provides academic advising and mentoring for students in transition from other institutions to Seton Hall University. Students who bring in less than 30 credits will be advised by the staff in the Transfer Center. Students who bring in 30+ credits will meet with an academic adviser in their declared discipline. The Transfer Center will facilitate the scheduling of those appointments.
Please note that students who have earned an Associates Degree from an accredited two year college and who are accepted into the College of Arts and Sciences may be considered for a partial waiver of the core curriculum, depending upon the date and sequence in which the Associates Degree was earned. Students who have earned an Applied Associates are not eligible for a core waiver. To be eligible for core waiver consideration, the final transcript must reflect the Associate’s Degree award.
