Eligibility Requirements

Honoring Dominick and Christine La Motta, the scholarship is awarded annually to a promising second-semester sophomore at Seton Hall University. The scholarship is in the amount of $8,000 for each of the winner's junior and senior years, for a total award of $16,000. It is available to students enrolled in any of the University's undergraduate programs, including the College of Arts and Sciences, Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations, and the Stillman School of Business.

  1. Junior or senior standing
  2. Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  3. Demonstrate a serious interest in pursuing a career in Italian Studies through coursework and interview and continue to focus their work in Italian Studies through graduation
