Scott began his career as a researcher in the 1970s for the NBC 50th Anniversary show, based at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan. Scott then spent 10 years on staff with HBO as a writer, producer, and director. Scott was later a Vice-President of Strategic Development for one of the Omnicom agencies, among other executive positions.
Scott has completed his doctoral studies and exams in Higher Education Leadership, Management and Policy, teaches undergraduate and graduate communication, higher education and presentation skills courses, and he enjoys sharing his experience as a communication professional and his experience in higher education with students in every course he teaches.
